While many sectors are making strides to decarbonize, the use of sustainable fuels in aviation and shipping is lagging. Pyrolysis can transform non-food, non-feed sustainable biomass into a versatile energy carrier, that can be upgraded to drop-in sustainable biofuel for aviation and marine applications.
In this seminar, an overview is given on the current developments of this technology and an outlook is provided on what can be expected. The seminar is intended for all who want to gain a good understanding of the recent developments, opportunities, and barriers towards further deployment.
